header and random technology cat??

I have an LX and i was wondering if i could get an EX header and put the RT cat on it, would it fit? I dont want to have to cut motor mounts for the HP headers, and i dont want my Check engine light to come on because of the kamikaze headers. So could this work, or could i get the kamikaze headers and replace the downpipe with this high flow cat??

you'd probably have to get an ex exhaust.

three questions.....

On the random technology downpipe/cat, are there bungs for the stock o2 sensors?

Will it trigger the engine check light eventhough it is a fully functional catalytic converter?

is it the exact same length as the stock EX downpipe? ....so that i could buy an EX shorty header and EX catback?

to whomever answers my questions.....

I came across that not to long ago. the ex header will fit on the lx head and you could just get the ex cat back but you aren't going to have cat which isn't street legal and sounds like crap. there is a aftermarket header for the lx. and you could get a lx cat back, but you still won't have a cat. it's should all be the same just stick ex parts with ex parts. importparts.com has the lx header for about $300. I've noticed a few people are running that set up with out the cat. but FYI its a federal offense to remove the cat like that, and the price of a new cat will be way less then a fine if you are caught. if you can find a shop that will do it. i know most of them where I am won't do it. Look into it tho man

oh yeah almost forgot, alexlx, you will have to have a new cat put in and the second o2 sensor moved behind it to get that check engine light to turn off.
