ACURA EL TRUNK LID ON A CIVIC SEDAN

What's crackin' my fellow civic owners,

This question has probably been asked and asnwered too but, I haven't seen it so I apologizes up front for the repeat if it is. Has anyone try to install the trunk lid off the 2001 acura el? and if so did the measure come to be exact?. from all the pictures I've seen the measurements look the same the whole car looks the same as the U.S. sedan. Please people give me a shout let me know if this has been don't and how hard was it to install?

Surprisingly, although the cars look similar there are slight differences. For example, the headlights have different shapes. The hood also has the Acura crease down the middle, whereas the Civic doesn't. Also the Civic sedan trunk lid slopes downward, while the Acura EL trunk lid has a dip and then slight tail up finish at the edge. But it will probably fit.

yeah there is some difference between civic and el.
but for the trunk lid it should be perfect fit.....not 100% sure but should fit[IMG]i/expressions/demon.gif[/IMG]

.....by the way i didn't know the shape of the headlight is different........
