Rep Power: 0 Why do Ground Control Coilovers Squeak so much?
I've been having my adjustable ground controls for a while now and not once did it not squeek...would it squeak less if i put a big and flat washer in between the rubber hat?

Rep Power: 0 Well, in one of my magazines when they did the GC coilovers on a 2001 Civic they said to grease the crap out of them so they won't sqeek. They looked like pure A$$ cause they had grease all over the spring and everywhere.

Rep Power: 0 let me guess, the squeak is from the front? Does it squeak when you turn the wheel? If it is, that should be normal and regreasing every 10000 miles should keep it in check. When you buy full coils, macpherson struts fronts usually come with spherical bearing in the pillowball mount. The Strut shaft rotates when you turn, that is where the that squeak comes from. The other place would be the urethane mount. Aluminum does not squeak. I guess the spring would squeak when it compresses. People with lowering springs do not have this problem, only sleeved coils. Thats my thought. I do have the Weapon-R circuit pros and are awaiting funds for the Tein Flex or JIC FLT-A2s.
