well, i have a 1998 honda prelude and i just bought a set of apc indiglo gauges. In the instructions it said that if the hole on the indiglo gauge was not big enough to fit around the needle, you would have to take the needles off of the speedo, tach, etc. So the process for doing that was to start the car, and check the idle level and fuel level and make notes of where it was at. Then turn the car off, take the cluster out, and pull out the needles....and then after you put the gauges on, you are supposed to plug the cluster back in, start the car and insert the needles to the points that u had made notes of before, like the idle speed, fuel level. So i did that, put the needles in at about 1/2 tank and at 1100 rmps and then the speedo needle at rest. Then the instructions said that was all you had to do to get proper gauge readings. Well they were wrong cuz now my gauges are DEAD. The needles do not move at all, and i know that its not the needles not being able to move cuz i already checked that by taking off the gauges and seeing if it would move with no gauge behind it. Nothing moves at all. What should I do? Take it to honda? god im so pissed pleased help me !!!! thanks

Rep Power: 0 i doubt Honda will fix it under warranty...but if you pay, they can probably fix it but for a high $$$. Or you can just take it to a shop... it's cheaper but you dunno if they're a good shop or not. Which ever one is fine as long as its fixed.
