lx exhaust

I have a 2002 lx auto and I wanna know which is the best exhaust for it that does not sound like a motorcycle more of a deeper pitch instead
Also what about the headers for my car are they really a needed thing?
thanks

The thermal r&d sounds awesome and I don't want anything loud. Next paycheck = Thermal R&D Stealth

I was looking around and DC makes a Twin Canister cat-back that is made for the LX. I was wondering what that would sound like... you think like the TCS2?... which I don't think is made for the LX.

what would be better...to just get a cat back system...or buy a muffler and then do custom pipping

either way, the piping is usually made from stainless steel so its your choice whether you want to spend the money. I think custom piping is cheaper cheaper though.

Whenever I look for a TCS i only see it for the EX and Si. I haven't seen it sold for the LX. Can someone tell me where i can find it?
DC Sports has the price listed as TBA so i assumed it was in the making and not out yet

Custom piping is crap unless you can get mandrel bent stainless. Otherwise it is usually 'midas-bent' with those ripples, and rusts out after a couple years because it is crappy aluminized steel.

The TCS is louder than the Thermal.

HKS rear section all the way, It has a nice deep tone and not super loud. And the canister looks great. Its the best muffler I have ever had on any of my cars.
