Question about tint...
When you guys say you have a 30% tint, 5% on the back, what do you mean? Is the 5% back the rear windshield or the windows for the back seat?

"On the back" means windows other than the driver's and primary passenger's. So in a coupe, it would be the rear windshield and the two small triangular windows (rear three). On a sedan, it would be the rear five... the rear windshield, and all rear passenger windows. The fronts are the main driver and passenger windows. The 'eyebrow' is the sunstrip across the top of the windshield. Hope that explains it.

yep, and 35% is the highest you can go legally, most shops can do it "smoke black" which is illegal but they will still do it without a reciept.[hr]

So it's 5% of the light gets through in the back? is that right? or is it that 95% of the light gets through in the back?

so if someone says they have 35% in the front and 20% in the back, this usually means the driver/passenger side has 35% tint and the rear 3/5(depending on coupe/sedan) are 20%.
