Job's done for the APC clear tail lamp!

Here is the pic before and after! ! ! !

I NOW know why company like APC put a plastic cover on their tail lamp....cause their products don't fit perfectly...the plastic cover is made to '' give the impression that they have been made for our car '' ! ! !

Bue I like the result....I keep saying that with our type of car we have to be INNOVATIVE ! !

Tell me what you think!!!

can you paint them like that and put the clear back over them? I think that looks awsome though.

For those who want to know if it is difficult to put off the plastic cover.....I'll answer....
If you have brand new APC It is very difficult to put it off....and if you have tail lamp that leak it will be easier....I'll explain.....When I bought those APC clear tail lamp....there was one brand new and one with water on it....( company returns ) ! I've put them on hot water for about 10 min. After that I've pried the plastic of the one that leaks and the two piece have seperate easily. But when I tried the brand new one.....Ohhhh my god....crack it at a corner....and It took me like hals an hour to do it correctly.....

And for the one who ask if this will survive the winter....It don't have to survive the winter cause I'll put this car in a garage for all the winter! Don't want to damage it !!!! But there is no leak in my tail lamp....so under the rain or under the snow...no problem! ! !

How did you seal around the red and white lenses. What did you use? You should write a DIY

you must be one of the most jaded honda owners I have ever seen... you rarely have anything nice OR constructive to say about anything. Once you get that stick surgically removed from your a$$, I bet you'll be a pretty cool guy.
