[Request] InJen CAI, oh no flamming too.

I just picked up my InJen CAI and well, we all know the instructions suck LARGE.
In the instructions it mentions to cut a 2" x 3" hole for the filter.
Can someone be kind enough to take a quick pic of their filter/area for me so I know what I'm suppose to be cutting.

On a plus note, damn it looks sweet.

in the ex coupe (US), you want to cut it in the plastic inside of the wheel-well, ht e hole is for the piping, not the filter itself, that sits under the headlight in the bumper.

You have to cut a small piece of the plastic, in a round shape so the pipe will fit. You can see what i mean on the picture above.

I just installed my Injen CAI and I did not have to cut anything or take off the bumber... I know it says to... but I just jacked up the front end, took the screw (1) out the holds the fenderwell, pulled it out a bit to get the filter in.

I think its looks good... Little more power.. But I am not impressed with the sound. To high pitched!

Maybe I am just used to hearing a DOHC Si 1.6 with a AEM intake or a RSX - S with a Injen short ram.... ours sound much more high pitched.

My Injen CAI pipe comes out different from aks pic. I think there are several different versions. I didn't *have* to cut anything to make it fit, but I think it'll fit better if I did a little bit of trimming where the pipe touches the inner fender.
