Honest opinions

I have an EX, and I here the venom 400 doesn't work well on this car. So does anyone here with another EX with the venom 400 installed think it is worth the money. If it makes a noticeable difference then I will order one tomorrow, but otherwise I could find a lot of things I would rather spend $300 on. Thanks for any help.

Buy the apexi s-afc. Neither are nessisary unless you have alot of mods. Its not going to do anything for a stock car... Kind of like those plasma boosters.

The only mods I have are DC sport headers, Injen SRI, and OBX cat-back exhaust.

if you are looking for a big power increase then no. at most all it is going to give you is a slightly noticable power increase to you. i would go with the s-afc but its your choice. it will be a small gain, but every liitle bit helps.

I've got an EX with the venom-400. It works good If you are crusing at say 60, downshift to 3rd and punch it, it will kick on for most of the RPM range. It seems when it hits higher RPM's there is nothing the venom can do because the LED is off. Think its made to work for the mid-rpm range. I was definitly able to feel an increase when I first hooked it up, and I think it was on more before I installed more mods. I think since the other mods freed up some horsepower, there is not much HP left for the venom to find. Anyways, its easy to hook up, just 4 wires all under the hood, comes with directions for our cars... so if you don't have too many other mods it might be a good investment for you.

i thought the VENOM 400 was supposed to work in the opposite way. its purpose was to free up extra HP that AFTERMARKET mods were not able to unleash. i heard that it did less to a stock car than a car with lots of mods...
