yes its recorded in ur ecu, and yes ur abs light will stay on if u put in an ex. No ur actually millage will not come up on ur cluster.

Just remember the mileage on the other cluster. You'll have to declare it when you sell your car or it's illegal and you don't pass go or collect $200

Did you have to change out the wiring harness of did it wire up?????
