Wow you are a newbie in the most severe case of the word! No you cannot make a non-VTEC motor into a VTEC motor. If you wanted VTEC you should have gotten an EX or HX or Si. This thread will probably be locked.

Save up for a swap or turbo or supercharger...since you have a non-VTEC engine the compression ratio is more compatible with FI.

Ok for the guy that said that you cant make a v-tec engine a v-tec, you are wrong. Sorry to break it to you but it is possible. It takes some work but its possible. First thing you need newbie is a set of ex cylider heads. Also the wiring harness and the ecu to the 2001+ ex. Then just swap the heads, time the engine and hook up all your sensors to the ecu and you have yourself a nice little hibrid. BUT, you probably dont want to do that so get yo a$$ an si homeboy.

Right. Of course it's possible to make a non v-tec engine into v-tec.

Of course it's more practical to spend that money putting in a new engine ( rsx )

I can't wait until my car is paid off so I can do that.
