Hey guys,

Ok, if I get a Magnaflow universal muffler and get the muffler shop to put 2.25 inch piping on the end and bolt it to the stock mid-pipe where

the resonator is, just like the new HKS rear section bolt-on. Would this set-up give me an increase in sound???

I don't wanna go through this and spend money and have no sound difference. I want a low sound but not non-existant. I wanna keep the

mid-pipe as is, so no cutting off the resonator. Would this custom rear section increase my sound..... ???

Yes. You would certainly get an increase in sound. Make sure the muffler shop welds the correct flange onto the pipe that will connect to the rest of the exhaust, so you will be able to unbolt the custom axle back and bolt your stock axle back exhaust if you have to. Good luck.
