i have an oem alarm install from the dealer when i bought my car.
personally i think the alarm sucks for the most part. i don't think there is a vibration sensor cause even when i kick my tires nothing happens. the only way the alarm is set off is if a door, trunk or hood is opened. and if u think about it, if you lock ur car and one of those is open, some major damage to ur car has already been done.
the thing i like is when u turn on ur car the doors lock automaticlly. and when u turn off ur car it unlocks.
other than that i don't like it.
and if it does have a vibration sensor is there a way to increase the sensitivity? anyone?

the oem alarm is not equipped with shock sensors or glass sensors.

The civic cant be turned on without the KEY. so the fuel cut off is not necessary. so maybe it DOES have it, but the dealer never installed it. i got my alarm from the dealer whe ni bought my car, just so it would use the same remote. but the stupid alarm is freaking annoying!!!! it goes on everytime the car is off and the doors are locked using the power lock button. but it does have a shock sensor, and it is adjustable. plus i htink the dealer was telling me some sheat about the alarm paying my insurance deductable and something about defecit replacement of my car if its stolen or something, i dont really know. it cost about 400 to keep it on, and thats not that much, especially since its under warranty for 7 years 100,000, since i took the extended warranty also.
