Tint Question(The More Responses the Better)
Hey Everyone,
I just got my windows tinted and the windows are all streaky, the guy at the shop said it will go away when the glue drys.
I just wanted to know how long it took for the glue to dry off of your cars (est. time)
Thanks Alot
Mike

i was like crap, there are going to be all these streaks in the windows
but after a couple days... it was perfect
REMEMBER dont roll your windows down for a week or wash the inside of them
it will mess it up

Damn, my tint place told me to wait 24 hours to roll down the windows, which i did, and they were fine. After i got them tinted I came home and wiped the glue off the inside of the windows with a damp papertowel and I didnt have a problem.
here is a idea for you, the tint place that i got it done at and i came out fine...
just set your car out in the sun for awhile. i got mine do in winter so if its cold where you are. just do it in daylight, but turn you heat on hot and and let it just get all toasty in there a few times a day and i was able to put my windows down and clean them in a 1-2 days... havent had any problem in 2yrs

when i got my tint i was told to wait three days for it to adhere....that way no streaks would occur....and it keeps it from bubbling, or crinkling. but after those 3 days i was rolling up and down like crazy with no problems hehe
It's okay to turn on the rear defroster with tint...
I've been told on all four of my cars that I've had tinted over the years to wait three days before rolling up and down the windows, and then expect the bubbles and streaks to disappear over a period of two weeks to a month...
It's true, with tint just be patient and it will be fine...generally....take it back if you have any questions though...
