revo Questions

i am thiking of getting a revo short shifter but i want to know if the shifter itself is shorter

The Revo shifter is shorter......and what all those adapterstyle Shortershifters(DC, Neuspeed, Solo) do is relocate the cable.......This feature is already built into the new REVO,,& its welded on instead of held on by a screw..... ALL i have to say is get this thing and get the Khumo bushings its an extra 20.00 but its worth it

i was wondering because i have a diff. shift **** and the shifter itself needs to be shorter to meet the boot. and what does the sport bushings do.
