question

The front left suspension (lower suspension arm) has been messed up for about 3 weeks now. It keeps making a *clinging sound when i hit a bump. I looked at it about a week ago and found out that the lower suspension arm joint/boot was torn. Im taking it to the dealer to get it checked. Question is, i just lowered my car about a week ago, so do you guys think that the dealer will void my warranty on my suspension even though i dropped the car after the problem started? (i know i shouldve brought in the car long before i dropped it)

Oh man....I think you're in for a rough ride--no pun intended.

Should've let the dealer drop your ride...

SKAR-ED damn! that sucks....
did it break when it was droped or after it was lowered?
if it broke when it was stock....change the suspension back (DIY w/your buddies)
and take it to the dealer as if you never dropped it, they'll never know...

its just a suggestion (dont go gettin into trouble now)

GOOD LUCK! and avoid the pot-holes

Just a little advice.

If you ever have a problem with your car and you suspect that it may be covered under warranty, always, always take it to the dealer before you do any modifications.

Since it is a suspension part that is affected, they can easily blame it on the lowering springs or on the installation.

Put the car back to stock and hope for the best. In all reality, the part that is broken is probably not too expensive, but the labor will most likely be up there.

If you can find the part on one of the Honda parts sites, you can estimate how much it will be to just get it fixed without having to put your car back to stock. Or maybe you can go get an estimate from a non Honda dealer.

Best of luck.

springs or coilovers void the suspension warranty so if i was you i'd change it back. that's why i'm keepin all my stock stuff. just in case.
