Will the bar fit with the Civic Ex bushings and end links or do we need to get everything?

wanna get an rsx sway bar also....some dudes straight gave their sway bars away on clubrsx.com a few months ago You shouldnt pay more than 60$ for one of those or you're gettin ripped off. Just as long as you dont tighten the bolts too much when you install it then you're fine. Is there any way to get a group buy on this going?

I got myself an RSX sway bar just now and it has the bolts and the bushings. It didnt come with the holder/brackets where you bolt the bushing/bar to the frame. I was wondering if I could use the stock holder/brackets from my EX. Or do I have to buy new brackets? Thanx in advance for the help.

IDQcivic should not be trusted
You're gunna need new bushings and brackets, the new bar is bigger, so do the math.. anyways.. for what they cost just get them and get urethane bushings, they are better than the stock rubber ones... they're only a few bucks so just do it the right way...

Well the bar came with it's own bushings. Where besides HondaWerx can I get the brackets? They're $10.50 from HondaWerx. They also sell bushings for $11.00, but I dunno if they're rubber or urethane. Where else can I get the urethane bushings?

you'll only need the the bar and the bushings for the ex models.

the ex bracket will work.

I got the rsx bracket anyway just to be sure..

the stock rubber bushing seems to be fine, but a better bushing will help.

Thanx Cap! Any idea where I could get urethane bushings?

Also, people are always saying that with this bar I should get a lower tie bar. I'm looking into it, but how bad is it if I don't? Also, what if I get one of the ghetto ones from procarparts on eBay? Are they really that much worse than say a DC or Neuspeed Lower Tie bar.

Lastly, it seems that since the frames are similar, Lower Tie Bars for an RSX will fit for us as well. Options Auto Salon, shows bars that say both 01+ Civic and 2002 RSX. Can anyone confirm that they're interchangeable. Thanx again everybody.
