Body kit painting and installing
Body kit painting and installing
There's a body kit that I really want for my 2k1 civic and it's on nopionline.com. Before I buy something online I would like to know how much it costs (the average) to paint it and install it. One of my friends told me that if I don't have enough money to paint it professionally I can spray paint it and install it until I have enough money. I would love some advice on this matter... also, would anyone in California be willing to advise me on car parts/accessories for my 2001 civic? I'll pay...
Thanks
Thanks
Which kit is it? If its polyurethane, then it will be cheaper to get painted, opposed to a fiberglass kit. I ordered a Kaminari kit. the painting will probely be anywhere from $250- $400 depending on ho good of quality you want it. Also, do not spraypaint it, trust me, your car will look much better without a kit, than with a spraypainted one.
Kairi- I emailed you so look for that.
and Flatlander... thanks for your input. The kit I want is actually fiberglass.. it's on www.nipionline.com. What's the difference between polyurethane and fiberglass kits? Does one hold up longer? I heard that one of them gets all funky in the sun... which one is that? Thanks for the advice about the spray paint, I definately won't do that. In your opinion what is a good thing to start with when you are adding aftermarket parts to your car? Thanks again....

Will not matter if its fiberglass or polyurathane, they will both cost anywhere from 300-500 dollars to get painted depending on the quality of the job. Also if you spray paint it will will look like crap and if its polyurathane then it will just flake off and look worse.
