DIY: Adding Tachometer HELP

DIY: Adding Tachometer HELP
i added a 5" autometer tach today and did the directions as followed by the diy but the rpm's on the tach are way off when im goin 2000 it registers 1000 and when i get up to about 6000 it only registers about 3000 i just need help asap if anyone knows how to fix this or if it will be like this let me know somethin if u can help

what kind did you get it should be as simple as adjusting it with the **** on the face
