Massachusetts and exhaust? Please Help
Just wondering if i cut my resonater for a custom bent cat back exhaust, will it cause problems with the emmisions of the car for the inspection evaluation???

Emissions are measured from the cat- back, so as long as you don't mess with your cat you'll pass emissions. It might be hella loud though, and I'm from Mass so I know what A-holes they are there about stuff like that.

dont do it, ma troopers will rape you. It happened to me once in my old civic. Just get a 50 state legal carb approved cat back exhaust, and if they try anything. Dont argue with them, just go appeal it and tell them to kiss your [IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG] while you show the reciept and a pic of the exhaust on the car! [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

I must have been pulled over 10 times in this state,
Once for going 73 in a 35.
Out of all those times I only got a ticket once (and for running a red - light)
