need help with map lights

sup guyz...real quick and noob question.....how do you remove the map lights on an EX, i want to change them from clear bulbs to red bulbs...the rear was easy to change but im having trouble removing the front lights, they're like the bullet light bulbs. I just dont want to shatter a bulb and have it stuck in there kna mean? thnx

Just yank em out! You have to give some force but they will remove easily.

ya...i had trouble getting it out too. but i was like screw it and just pulled as hard as i could.
good thing i did too. now all the lights in my car are blue

glad to see a newbie taking some guts and just going for it.

Those map lights are pretty easy to pop out.
If you look at the DIY for hardwiring a radar dector into an EX, it's all there.

But basically, take a small blade or flat head screw driver, and pry out one side. They are just clipped in there.

where did you buy your dome lights from?

I went to advanced auto parts as well as Pep Boys

I didnt find anything....[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG]

I got mine at Autozone for like $2......they have em at Discount Auto too but the Autzone lights are a better brand.

i got mine at an import car place
those back dome lights are hard to find
i went to like 6 place and they were all out of blue
i still got go look for them
right now i just turned it off heh

bought my bulbs at autozone, then out of boredom i colored the stock bulbs with a blue sharpie marker

its better than the actual blue bulbs...so i colored just bout all the other bulbs

Blue is SOOOO pretty!!
