HEADERS?

I have a question, i dont know if anyone can help me...my question is will headers from a 92-95 civic or even 96-00 civic fit the new 7th gen civic??

Well Im just asking coz if you look at the actual engine, or should i say the valve cover, it looks like the same engine just with the different electrical spark

if you just look down into the engine bay infront of the exhaust mani you will see a huge cross memeber. will not work just becasue of that. might bolt up but who knows.

They D17 is the same block as the D16. In fact it's the same bore. What makes it larger is that it has different crank. The crank in the D17 gives it a longer stroke.

A header for a D16 will bolt up. It will not however bolt to the downpipe/cat. The downpipe and cat are one piece. You would have to cut it and weld a new collector flange on the cat/downpipe.

yep...he's right...almost exactly the same except the cross member and the collector pipe beneath the car.
