I just want to make sure....

I've been reading about how the new Civic uses no return fuel line, yadda, yadda and after searching through some of your acrchives I see that a wet system is reccomneded for use with your cars(not a dry). I'm currently helping a friend decide which kit to get, but I'm confused....I undertand how the wet system tapped into the fuel line before the rail will simulate a drop in FP and cause the OEM pump to bump up pressure, so I can see using a NX or NOS wet kit, but I'm confused on how the Venom kit is "supposed" to work if its dry?? I know it it taps the injector wire and most likely reads the impedence/pulse and registers it back to the Venom microcompressor(or vice versa)...but how in the world does it work since the injectors are AFTER the FPR and fuel rail(where fuel pressure can't be controlled anymore)??? did that make any sense.... any answers would be cool!

I don't know how to answer your question, but the 7th gen civic's do not have a FPR, (thats why it's returnless)....uhmm.....delocampus on here knows quite a bit......
or I think boosted has venom.....or venom civic........
check them out and PM them......
I think (think), that you tap a line out of the fuel line that goes to the venom system and comes back into the intake.....actually, i dont know......
peace, Trevor

venom is too expensive, just get the nx kit, i've installed a few on other cars and theyre simple to install if your good with wiring and give great performance.

yeah thanks for the feedback guys...my suggestion to him was NX or NOS for the simple fact that they are more widely installed and used than Venom, so I think I'll tell him to go with NX wet setup. the Venom seems interesting and all but for all simplicity I guess NX is the winner...thanks guys!
