Help on Lowering w/ ground control???

I am in the middle of lowering my 2k2 right now...and went to go put the first ground control coilover on the front.....and it will not fit over stock shock......I have already searched the forums

What do I need to do or did I get the wrong set of coilovers from ground control???????

THANKS

maybe this would help ground control install

"The shock cartridge nut is removed so the coil over can be slipped on to the shock body. With the coilover sleeve slipped onto the shock, the four hex bolts that correctly align the spring with the upper perch can be tightened."
