now that i have your attention..........
what can i put between exhaust pipe and rear bumper to keep them from KNOCKING LOUD AS HELL until i get a catback? there isnt much of a gap so i just need to shove something in there that can resist the heat. any suggestions?

Stuff a piece of plain house insulation as tight as you can in the gap. Then a lilltle muffler repair tape (metallic) should hold it for a while. Trim the excess and it shouldn't be noticeable

Are you sure its the muffler? I have the same problem but closer to where the hangers were put on. I can't move the muffler at all so its not the muffler thats hitting it has to be something else. You might wanna check that out first.

you might want to mess around with the hangers to see what would fit best, but the thing is if the muffler starts touching the rear bumper, your going to have problems with the bumper melting in that spot.

thanx 4 all the info guys i think ill just shove a piece of metal between there 4 now, and by the way, if anyone has another idea im talking about my FACTORY exhaust hitting aftermaket bumber. havent got new exhaust yet waiting on tanabe.
