ATTN: ALL DX AND LX COUPES W/EXHAUST! NEED HELP
Ok guys. I've had a custom cat back for a while, but I busted my pipe and now it's leaking. I'd really like to buy a bolt on cat back. I've searched and read on all of the parts in the parts section. The only one that says it will actually fit a dx is the magnaflow. Tornactive doesn't have it anymore (well at least not listed). I looked up the thermal R&D catback, but it says it will not fit a DX automatic. I could get the rear section, but I've already replaced all of the pipe, so I would have nothing to bolt it to. My question is, who has a couple dx/lx with a bolt on cat back exhaust w/ auto tranny, and which one is it? Where did you get it and how much? If I don't find one I'm just going to buy a Hayme race muffler when I visit japan, and redo the pipe. If the cat back only fits the manual, how do I mod it to fit an auto?

OK, here is the secondary question. The stock 7th gen has two flex-joints in the exhaust. Since I had a custom job done, I removed the rear joint. Now when the car is cold I can hear the front joint under a lot more pressure. On the older models there used to be a flex pipe. What I would like to do is have an exhaust with 2.25" piping that still uses the flexing joints. This is why I would like a full cat back thats aftermarket. Now, what is the difference in the exhaust between the LX/DX automatic and stick? The thermal R&D specifically specified that the exhaust would not fit an automatic, yet it also specified that EX/DX/LX would use the same pipes, which I think is wrong. Do the aftermarket cat-backs utilize these flexible joints?
