How do you remove these pillars?

Its held on by clips Im pritty sure you just have to pull, try moving it at diffrent angles and such, im painting mine red as soon as my REAL CF dash comes. Very excited, custom made. Open your door, and pull down on the edge molding on the outside of the pillar where the door frame hits it, it pulls out easily. Then start at the top of the pillar and pop it outwards. There are two clips, one toward the top and one about halfway down, that need to be pulled out. Once you get these two off, then bend the pillar toward the passenger side (if it is the driver pillar) and pull up on the bottom of the pillar, should slide right out.
