Rep Power: 0 Anyone done this to their Auto?
Alright I took apart my lower console, where the shifter and e-brake are - I have an automatic btw - and I was planning on changing the color of the various shift lights that tell you what gear you're in. I expected it to be more of those little clear-green pieces of plastic like in the Head-unit, but instead it was one whole strip with different colored paint for each gear. Anybody know the best way to remove that and, more importantly, paint it a different color? Like what paint to use, or whatever?
I read a post somewhere that said you could use an eraser and gently rub off the old paint, but how would I go about re-painting it? Any help is, as always, much appreciated. Thanks!

Rep Power: 0 Alright, I could try the Blue LED idea - that could work. Except then you could see right through each lens down into the shift section, so I'd still have to frost them or something - if that makes sense. I mean, put a thin coat of white - or blue - paint underneath to keep that glow effect. I dunno, I'll run over to Checker Auto tomorrow and see if they have anything - if it works I'll post the DIY, in case anyone else is intereseted. And I'll get some pics too, so you can see how my all-blue lighting interior is looking.
Thanks guys! Cheers!!

Rep Power: 0 sometime last year some guys where talking about how u pull out some tab and it would let u put in first gear. the ero-civics have 1/2/3/4 on the shifter instead of 2/3/4. and the kicker is there made here in the states. so i don't see why u could do it.. some how
