Rep Power: 0 AEM Bypass valve diagram question
Just bought a polished AEM CAI and also a bypass valve and I have a question about the bypass valve. When I saw it some magazines, they had the bypass installed in between the 1st and second tube but when I tried it, I found out that the pipes aren't of the same size. I opened the manual of the bypass valve and i read that tere was suppose to be some cutting involved and there was a diagram at the last page of the manual. What I don'ty know right now is where to start with the diagram given coz there aren't any pics (unlike the AEM CAI manual) as for me to base it from. I've search the topics and read and saw the pics of it installed and I just wanna make sure about the use of the diagram so that I won't end up cutting the wrong part of the CAI. Has anyone used or seen that diargram? Please help.

Rep Power: 0 Never used the diagram but I was told that the bypass needs to be at least 12 inches from the throttle body. That puts it in the 2nd bend where the tube heads down towards to back of the front bumper.
