I know this is kinda OT, but aren't NORMAL hoods suicide hoods? I mean, suicide doors are called that cause if you open them while driving fast, the'll fly off, while normal doors will just shut. So normal hoods will fly off, while backwards hoods will shut......
Sorry to be so critical, it's late and i'm bored..

Edit: I was so busy being critical (hehe) i didn't realize that this would actually be really cool....... But there's a LOT of factors involved.... mounting locations, structural integrity, where to put the shocks (almost all hoods like that stay open on their own, they don't use holding bars like normal hoods), etc..... If anyone does it lets see pics and a DIY!
