I need cheep tunning tips.....
Re: I need cheep tunning tips.....
I will give you the best advise ever. There is no such thing as cheap. If the parts are cheap there is a reason. If you go the cheap route and things break they end up being very expensive.Have to pay the price to play the game and one way or another the price always gets paid. but if your looking for the basics, intake, header, exhaust, bigger injectors, and a tune are a good start.

lulz, i know what thats like. then save your money and pay for college. it's what i did/am doing. once you get some breathing room, then worry about getting some more power. for now, just take the good gas mileage and money savings from it. you're not gonna get cheap power, period. why an 04 si? the 9th gen civic will be out by then and the 9th gen SI will probably be way better than the ep3
where you planning on going to college, anyway?

Your car will never be fast unless you put a lot of time and money into it. Just keep it clean and running and buy an SAFC if you feel like tuning it to your bolt on mods.

The best way to get performance for free is just what gearbox said, lose some weight. The speed game is all about HP/W ratio. If it's only you in the car then theoretically all you REALLY need is the driver's seat, lol. Also, have you tried advancing the timing and adjusting the fuel pressure regulator?
