A ghetto fab catch can question
So it's 3:13 am and I've been researching different DIY set ups since 12 and there is one question I had that I can't find an answer to.
A lot of people are using steel wool instead of baffles in their catch cans and have to replace them like every two weeks because they degrade and lovely things like steel wool in the intake ensues. One guy on the SVT forums stole his wife's loofah and trimmed a piece off of it and it seemed to work. His wife found out and almost killed him though.
My question is, can I use stainless steel instead to keep it from rusting degrading? If not is there something else I can use? I don't have the money to buy the pimp daddy shiny pretty points at a car show ones. I car more about function over form and even thought of making one of a red-bull bottle to give you an idea about how much i DONT care about what it looks like, only how it works.
Thanks guys.
