Need advise on performance mods...

Hi, I just bought a 04 Civic 2 dr with a 1.7 liter and I wanted to do some performance mods and Im on a limited budget. What can give the most bang for my buck?.

yup! $1k worth of mods for the civic will get you a few hp and alot of noise. dont even bother.

just drive it stock and save up for a bike, turbo kit, or something because you won't see much improvement for the money you throw at it. Trust me I've wasted alot.

It's all true, just enjoy the gas money you save. Unless you do an engine swap or turbo you'll be disappointed.

If you wanna do something fun to your car that isn't quite as financially intimidating I recommend doing suspension work. It may take our cars a few minutes to get up to 90 mph . . . but with the suspension at least you can stay there when a turn comes up : )

If its a v-tec than there is plenty of work that can be done, the likes up uprated cams, a stroker kit new inlet and exhaust manifolds aswell as a full exhaust sysrem. Suspension would be a good upgrade aswell and brakes would be aswell, no point being able to go fast if you cant slow down

I think none of this is cheap like he is looking for.
