I just bought an OEM honda keyfob key/remote (has lock,unlock, trunk, and panic buttons).

For the life of me, I cannot get the remote part of the key to sync up to my car. I've looked all over this site and other ones for the programming code.

I have tried using the "turn on, press lock..." method a dozen times, but i have been unsuccessful.

Is there another way to program the key. In addition, the key HAS NOT been cut yet. Could this be a factor in the remote not programming as well?

I would like to make sure the key's lock/unlock system will program to my car before i get the key cut.

Any help anyone can give me would be awesome.
