Exhaust??
I know this makes me sound like a noob, and i'll probably get flamed, but let's say i put some dc headers on my stuff, where do i get the rest of the pipe from? What happens to my catalytic converter?? i appreciate it

dc doesn't make a lower pipe to go with their header because thay do not want to mess with emissions. but you might want to try the hp racing header. they make a 4-2-1 header and it comes with a high flow catalytic converter to replace the stock one. i don't know what it is like but everyone that has it says that the power gains are very noticeable.
well i was told that if you remove the the cat..the warranty is voided....something to do with the engine running hotter and changing the timing..what is yours guys' input on this... so does the dc sports use the existing cat? i would go with dc sports if that is the case....ne other opinions??
Hey guys I have the hp headers and high flow cat. It is a 4-1 header not a 4-2-1 and the high flow cat extension is a direct bolt on to the headers and stock exhasut or any aftermarket exhasut. Trust me the hp gains are very noticable. I bought mine off of ebay for $200 for the whole system. The DC suck. you use the stock down pipe and the stock cat. The only thing with the cat extension is that you have to take the sensors off their clips and pull the wires are far as you can. becuase the cat sensor sit behind the cat instead of in the cat like the stock cat. So pull the sensor wire lut as far as you can it is going to look real close but it will screw in there but u wont be able to put the clip back in I have posted a forum in reviews about the system. If you guys have any other questin jsut let me know and i will help out as best as i can.
oh ya i also remember seeing a cat extension that goes for the short stack headers (ie) dc headers. I forget how much it cost but u can look it up. go to search and either type in 2001 civic or 01 civic and it should be in one of those.
