Hey whats up guys i got a d16z6 in my 92 eg hatch and i wanted to go all motor with it. What engine mods could i do to it? I already have a aem intake, dc headers, and a buddy club spec 2 cat back with a test pipe. What would be the best way to go i was thinking cam gears and cam shafts. Is there anything better besides turboing which i plan on doing later on in the future.

It sounds like your on your way. I had a d16z6 in a 89 CrxSi i had. I had everything you had done (different brand ****) but still the same mods. I would go cam gears and cam shafts. You could get plugs, wires, coil but I don't know how much if any that will really add to your overall hp/torque. The next logical step would be to go turbo.

if you're going to get cam/cam gears, make sure you get your car professionally tuned or you'll see no gains from that mod.

i dont get why your next "logical" step to modding would be a turbo. if you're going all motor, just stick to that. if you do end up turboing your car, you'd have to ditch your header, etc...
