91 honda wont get above 2500 rpms

i have a b16 in my 91 hatch and its running a little rich and wont get above 2500 rpms and i was told it would be the dist. cap and rotor button but im not sure,what could fix my problem?..need help fast!

is it just bouncing off 2500 rpm? or is it just having difficulty? if its just bouncing check your vtec wiring. any ecls?

Im with him check and make sure all your wiring plugs are connected.

yea i think your going to have to give a little more detail than just saying "cant go above 2500 rpm whats my problem"

have you done anything to it before you had the problem?

chances are it's something simple like you forgot to plug something back in

im just getting the harness rebuilt because a while back it burnt up all the way to the fuse box and it wouldnt run rite ever since so im replacing the whole harness hoping it will run correctly.
