This is the harness they gave me that goes underneith your dash and hooks up to the button and fuse box. But im fairly certain they sent me the wrong one. Because i've looked at Honda's installation instructions and this does not look like the harness they say i need.

where did you get your fog lights from?

with the green connector on there, it appears to be an ebay kit...thus probably not actual 'OEM' but 'OEM Style'

if that is the case, then you can only use the OEM instructions as more of a 'guide' persay...

have you layed the set-up out on the floor, and 'assembled' it outside of the car, so you know what everything connects up to?

theres no way thats a honda harness. i would just start over and make your own.

well, if it was like the one i got, it should all plug up... just slightly different...

here's what i did with mine i got off ebay (esuse)



just lay it out, plug everything together that does match up.

then take a look at the plugs you have left...

use the OEM diagram to see where their harness plugs into the car, and compare to your harness for matching plugs. be sure to find some grounding points for the metal C-clip ends...

it should work just fine then.

like i said before, i'm more than willing to help you out with plugging it in. (i'd help you install, but i doubt you even live in the same state :P )

it's the same harness that i got for my fogs. Brown and white connectors plug intot he fuse box. smaller white connects to the harness running from the fogs. green to the switch.

the switch should light up when you turn your normal lights on.

well. i think this is not wrong.
but just the plugs won't plug in correctly.
please refer to this link. there is a tutorial for the exact same thing but on the other forum.

Thanks alot guys, all of this has helped me alot. Now i'm trying to decide if i want to put this one in or if gearbox is right and just make my own harness. I'll get back to you guys when i have it in to tell you all what happened.

yea, i didn't think 8thgen had a DIY for that exact set-up (at least it looks the same)

go with that one first
mine was ebay, but following similar diagrams, i was able to find where the plugs go in the car...not the same wire set-up (so they actually can come on at other times the OEM ones don't) but plugs up the same...

How do i take the cover off the blue fuze harness??? i can't get that off and thats the only thing stoping me from being finished. Thanks
