question about refinishing my fiber images hood. It's about 3.5 years old and over the past year it has been rapidly deteriorating. The Texas sun is taking it's toll on the finish. I'm sure it's only gel coated rather than clear coated but i was wondering what others have done in the past to refinish thier hoods. found this on a nissan forum anyone tried this before. http://www.nicoclub.com/articles.php?id=226783. suggestions, thanks.

just wet sand it and clear coat it. whenever i make or wrap anything with carbon i always have to sand the resin some to make it nice and even. i wet sand up to at least 600 grit and then clear coat.
