My Power Locks kinda stop working

Hi! I don't really know how to explain it, but my power locks for my 01 Civic kinda stop working. It's the drivers side that I have problems with... I notice that it only works once or twice every minute. The passenger side works everytime. I don't know how long it's been doing this for, but I just started to notice it now.

Now I'm thinking there's shouldn't be anything wrong with the connection cause it works once or twice every minute. Could there be something wrong with the actual power lock itself? Any help or suggestion is appreciated! Thanks!

Re: My Power Locks kinda stop working

does it make a loud noise when doing it or does it just not work at all? if it makes a loud noise then either the actuator is broken/damaged. have you done anything to your headunit? i found out that somehow the headunit is related to the power locks. i guess part of the power locks harness goes through the headunit harness as well.

i replaced mine a few weeks ago, so if u have any question on anything feel free to ask.

It makes a noise when I use it. Even if it doesn't work. It's just weird how it works one or twice every minute...

Yea, I also did read that it was a common problem. Oh well...
