New Exhaust Prob.....

Hey everyone, just got my OBX B3 bomb exhaust put on today and it sounds pretty good. I have a few questions though. Right when I got it installed, it was loud, but not very loud. Now at the end of the day, it almost seems defening to the ears. Is it suposed to be that way or what. Secondly, the muffler hits the bottom of the bumper and it gets so hot that it melts the plastic on the bumper. Should I just go back to the muffler place and get it adjusted or is there any particular place where I could find longer rubber holders for the muffler? Thanks!

Take it back to the muffler shop and have them fix it. And watch out, someone on this site had their muffler melt the $hit out of the bumber because it was touching it.

there is stuff inside the muffler that takes some time to break up...until then the exhaust will change in sound. but once it gets broke in the sound will even out.

trust me...give it a week or two ( maybe a bit more ) and you will be very very happy!!

oh yeah...what do you think about it...any hp increase??

I don't see that big of a difference. There is a small difference when you get into higher RPM though! Thanks for your help everyone!
