b18c conversion

Hey guys, im looking into buying an eg civic for a few grand, then dropping a b18c in it, but before i do id like to look into it, is it a hard swap? or a straight forward one? what needs replacing with the engine? radiator? gearbox? feul pump? can someone please give me an in depth list of parts and would it be worth it? would it end up being REALLLY expensive, or am i better off doing a b16a conversion? would it be cheaper and easier, so overall im looking for a cheap project, that is road worthy quick and reliable for under 8k in total and wont be too much of a headache.

much appreciated,

Luke Assad..

Re: b18c conversion

the price is going to depend on how savvy you are with cars. if you can do a lot on your own and you SEARCH for decent prices on parts, it could be possible to buy the car and do the swap all for under 8k. as for which motor is better and what not, you can search on here, there is a ton of information, but you have to search for it. there's a bunch of different options for the eg (especially the hatch), it is a great car to start with, so good luck.
