Sedan Tail light removal
Sedan Tail light removal
someone broke my tail lights and i was curious about changing them...how do i put the new ones on?i bought some oem ones.i had altezza lights and they just went right in but the oem have these little things on the bottom.I know one is suppose to screw into the bumper but i dont plan on doing that.I was able to remove the 1st pair and put the altezza pair i have without removing the bumper and i would like to avoid removing it at all costs...

Re: Sedan Tail light removal
just unscrew the back nuts and take off ur altezzas. then do the reverse to put em back on. its that simple...
but honestly... ur altezzas probably deserved teh bashing...hahaha

Re: Sedan Tail light removal
I dont know how you managed to get the lights out w/o taking the bumper off... but it was real easy to do so long as you know where the screws are
Re: Sedan Tail light removal
I just put my stock tails back in today and used this diagramhttps://www.civicforums.com/forums/7...l-diagram.html
Re: Sedan Tail light removal
Taking off the rear bumper made it waaaay easier to replace the tails.
I changed them previously without taking off the bumper and it took much longer and was a pain in the ***. I was quite surprised how easily the rear bumper came off and went back on.

Re: Sedan Tail light removal
front takes me 2 mins, rear took 10 mins not even getting it off completely and breaking a clip so it isnt evenly matched anymore.
