odometer/mileage...

can someone pls post up a DIY on how to unplug the mileage from running? my mileage isnt stopping. thanks

im not sure u what u mean by the mileage isnt stopping. the mileage is not supposed to stop. u can unplug the guage cluster, the mileage is stored in that. take out the black plastic from around it and then unscrew the three screws and then unlug the wire bundles

The mileage/odometer has its own battery pack to keep it running to keep people from turning it off to keep their mileage down.

You do know that it is a FEDERAL OFFENSE to stop your odometer from registering your mileage, and you can go to jail for it.

just throw some 26" rims on it. Then you will save about 40% of you mileage! hahaha!
