just bought my first car
specs:
99 ek civic coupe
b16 vtec w/gsr head/tranny
rsr exhaust
aem intake

wondering what i can do to boost hp/torque
was thinking stroker kit/turbo/supercharger but want to preserve engine so all 3 of those options are thrown out

looking at changing cams,pistons,pully,headers,intake manifold

problems with car:
exterior:
quarter panel dent, need new hood (planning on vis cf hood)
trunk is fading paint

mechanical:
need power steering
shifter shakes/rumbles when in gear
wont pass smog?

any suggestions would be appreciated thanks

**anyone know where i can get power steering parts? or what parts i need?

i have about 1k to spend on modding, not looking at modding it to the max, just a lil upgrade so i can take other cars that picks on civics...lol

-also, having problems catching the clutch...even my friend said it is harder than his 99 prelude sh ...gearbox is smaller in my civic...will putting a stage 1 clutch in there help?

umm...fix the dents, primer, get a rather low priced paint job to last ya. then mod... nothing worse than a beater with speed.
