DIY Header help

I recently ordered the HP H26 Full header and I was planning on installing it myself. Anybody have suggestions or warnings about doing this? I already have an intake and exhaust so I figured to finish it off. I drive an 04 Lx sedan btw Thanks guys

yup. get a new gasket. its about $10 from honda. other than that, wd40 the **** outta the nuts and bolts; you might want to get some new nuts and bolts from honda too. its like $3 for new ones so why not. never did a d17a1, but my a2 was pretty straight forward. just take out the old and put on the new. good luck.

Thank guys appreciate the help. I just recieved my invoice from TrueHonda.com and now the product reads that the H26 is for "EX Manual Only". Even though it didnt say anything on the product info at their page. So I was pretty ticked off, I just emailed them, but just incase will it make a difference if my car is a manual or not? thanks again guys

You can use it but ur cat back exhaust for the LX won't bolt up right to the test pipe so you'll have to get an EX exhaust; no biggy.

Ya that would be fine. Good luck with the setup. Post experiences with the install; I might be getting the HP header and cat myself.
