CAI Filter oil needed?

I was just curious if the filter oil is a necesity?

^correct, it should say on the tubing if it is dry flow (and a lot of warnings also to not oil)

It's an AEM Filter. I used the K & N filter clean/recharge kit on it. I bought the CAI about a year ago. I'm pretty sure that it is not a dry. It actually had oily residue on the filter when I bought the intake....

if its the red AEM then its the oil filter.. if its the grayish looking color AEM then its a dry filter and requires no oil
