Speedometer/Odometer question...

Got a question for all you techies. Do the speedometer and odometer measure from the same wheels? If so, front or back?

Would it matter if I got different sized wheels in the back then? I'd imagine not since the car is front wheel drive.

Hehe. So true. I just wondered when someone mentioned the wheel well gap looking bigger with bigger rims (same overall diameter).

How about bigger tires on the front? Kidding!
