[ Blitz Super-Charger ]
There IS hope for us in the near future:
Blitz has already created a supercharger system for the 2000+ Celica, which BTW is limited by the same returnless fuel system, tiny injectors, and limited ECU that we are.
I know it includes an ECU replacement and intercooler, and is able to produce 90hp to the wheels and over 100lbs of torque. Their engine, however, suffers from a 11.5:1 compression ratio, we could up the boost ALOT more than them, since we only run at 9.9:1 for the EX and 9.5:1 for the others...

Maybe we could contact them and ask them what they did...Who knows, we may even be able to pursuade them to produce a model for the 7th Generation Civic, with our massive numbers...Lord knows we need it...

hmm...that might be an option. anyone with some more technical knowledge want to e-mail them? I would, but I would come off sounding like a dumb a$$ and would probably hurt any chance we have of getting the thing.
I see you've made a supercharger for the 2000 celica. The Honda Civic, however, has no supercharger, no turbo, no means of forced induction for the 7th gen civic, 2001 and up. However, the Civic has an even better compression ratio than the 2000 celica, it could run so nice, you'd get great numbers out of it with a higher compression, and most of all, you'd have the only forced induction product on the market for this car, and just so you know, at the 2001 civic website, this is a huge topic of conversation. There are hundreds, if not thousands of people that post here all the time, and you could have the entire market. Just some food for thought, and a little hopefullness.

if he only knew....
if blitz came on 2k1civic.com and D made an offical authorization (like "hey these guys are real not imposters) and announced they had a super charger kit, I can guarantee at least 100 orders would be placed within the hour, i know i'd buy one

simkim i don't beleive that is for the 2000 + celica but the previous generation . the pic on the second link has the old celica body. it also was equipped like the 6th gen civic. good idea though.

The picture you think is the 'OLD Celica' body, happens to be a picture of the mitsubishi lancer evo.....they also released a front-mount intercooler kit for the EVO 4-6, take a look at the article that you are referring to...
The engine code 2ZZGE, is a 2000 Celica GT-S, which my girlfriend owns. And VVTL-I (variable valve timeing and lift) only comes with the 2000+ GT-S...
Believe me its a hot topic amongst her crew...atleast 4 other 7th generation celica's that she knows of already has the supercharger kit installed....

All I want is for 7thGenCivic to talk to blitz, about something that is real and does exist, and has way more potential for our cars, and would have a MUCH higher sales rate...
But Blitz won't do anything if we don't voice our opinion, they probably haven't even contemplated the idea. This is something that has alot of potential for us, and we don't need to shoot this idea down, just do your part people and email or call them...
Thanx,

Im sure these guys would be even more willing to go through with this, especially after reading the stupid @ss f#cking bickering in this thread. I wouldn't be suprised if they came to the conclusion that the members on the board were a bunch of prissy little kids.
Think about it next time...........
Think about it next time...........
I like I like , the SC would be moutable and everything with are civics, like is the civics and celicas motors the say way? you know what i mean, and was wondering how much you think this kind of setup would run?
good luck an any sort of forced induction (short of nitrous) that will pass ULEV requirements....
you realize that is why noone has built a kit for us, and if you run any sort of turbo or supercharger, your gonna have to go to a seedy shop to get one of those, uh, $100 smog checks

accually a super charger would be better for us since hks arent makin the turbo kit n e more. they said that it didnt perform the way they wanted it to so they arent putting it to production. also how are we fitting the supercharger in there n e 1 take a look at their engine bay recently. its a damn sardine can in there. maybe .......i got my fingers cossed.
Umm......where did you read that HKS is not making the kit for our cars anymore? Don't pass false information. I re-read the thread started in HKS's forum, and as far as I know, they are STILL in the works of the Stage 1 Prototype Bolt On Turbo Kit that adds 30-40 WHP at 3-4 PSi with stage 2 using modified fuel regulators and Intercooler.
think about it are you gonna spend 2000 or more on a turbo kit that makes 4 horses? if u do yer a fool you can spend 450 on a 75 shot of nitrous and be dont with it and still have room for jello!

i think the sc would be better.... we can gain more boost and we would have better gains for about the same price... theres also the infamous term: TURBO-LAG... my money would go staight to blitz... oh yea and about the 75 shot of NOS dealy... if you have been recently reading the threads... there have been people having to replace piston rings etc... all because of NOS.....so if you wanna run 75 it's not gonna cost 4 bills... try more like 1500 because if you wanna run 75 on a stock motor without doing any internal work... you're as dumb as those fools... no offense guys if you're one of them anyways... yea... GO BLITZ !!!
Hmmmm..... I think you guys just need to chill and wait. Someone is bound to come out with a Turbo kit/Supercharger kit. Just sit back, grab a beer and watch Maryland BEAT UCONN!!
