removing sedan tail lights/rear bumper
I just bought new tail for my car (not altezza's) and i read some where that u needed to take the rear bumper off to take the stock tails out. I tried with out..and it must be true.. now how the heck do i get the rear bumper off???
I just installed new taillights on my sedan. I did not pull off my bumper. I pulled my car rear tires on a set of ramps and unscrewed the bottom screw under the lights. I also took out the nuts on the bracket but they didn't do anything I don't think. I had to used a bit of force to get the taillights out but I didn't break anything.
your probably better off just removing the bumper, there are only half adozen screws/plugs to remove and it makes taking the lights out alot easier. I just did my tails the other day and had a great time just taking it all apart
